Please check back often as travel guidelines are subject to change.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCES:

Generally, passengers are allowed one carry-on bag and one small personal item, such as a purse or backpack. Remember, your carry-on bag must fit under your seat or in the overhead compartment on the airplane (federal regulation). As you may already be aware, the government has issued new security regulations at all airports. Some of these rules vary according to airport and carrier. Please note that curbside check-in has been eliminated at some airports. Depending upon current conditions, this can change on a daily basis. Carry-on baggage limits also vary. Please verify directly with your specific airline to confirm potential additional charges related to checked baggage, excess baggage weight, and sizes that are allowed.

FLIGHT SECURITY AT THE AIRPORT:
  • Travelers may carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag.
  • At the checkpoint, travelers will be asked to remove the zip-top bag of liquids and place it in a bin or on the conveyor belt. X-raying separately will allow TSA security officers to more easily examine the declared items.
  • After clearing security, travelers can bring beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area on-board aircraft.
  • Loose lithium batteries are not permitted in checked baggage.
TRAVEL PLANNING INFORMATION:
COVID-19

As COVID-19 updates remain fluid at this time, travelers are responsible for adherence to any national and local regulations that are in place at the time of travel. We will ensure you are made aware of these regulations as they become relevant.

ENTRY INTO MEXICO:

All passengers entering Mexico must be in possession of a passport that is valid with an expiration date that is not less than 6 months beyond the date of their return ticket.

FLYING INTO CANCUN:

All international flights arrive at Cancun International Airport (CUN) the same day as you depart your home airport.

BRING PROPER IDENTIFICATION

To ensure your safety and that of other passengers, airlines require that all passengers present the following documentation prior to boarding:

Proof of travel for the same day – printed confirmation of an e-ticket (including ticket number); or an airline- or agency-generated itinerary confirming an e-ticket (including ticket number).A current passport that is valid for more than the length of stay (6 months beyond your departure date is recommended).

PASSPORT INFORMATION

Due to tightened security measures, please read the updated passport guidelines carefully to ensure that you have all the proper documents before going to the airport. Winners and their official guests will be leaving the boundaries of the United States and Canada, and therefore, will need to show proof of residency/citizenship. All persons regardless of age will need a passport.

Please ensure your passport is valid for more than the length of stay (6 months beyond your departure date is recommended). You must also have at least one blank passport page for the entry stamp. These are requirements that will be enforced. Please also note that the name on your passport must match the name on your airline ticket. For example, if your passport is in the name of ‘James John Doe’, your airline ticket must say ‘James John Doe’.
